Norse reports 68 per cent increase in passengers YOY

Norse Atlantic Airways has reported a strong year over year performance for October.

Last month the airline carried 102,410 passengers – a 68 per cent
increase on last year – and operated 403 flights, which was an increase of
31 per cent year over year.

October saw an average load factor of 75 per cent, representing an increase of 15 percentage points year over year. 

According to Norse, 100 per cent of flights operated last month with 83 per cent of them arriving within 15 minutes of their scheduled arrival time, which is 8 percentage points higher than last year.

Bjorn Tore Larsen, CEO and founder Norse Atlantic Airways said: “We are pleased that October has continued with a strong year on year performance trend cross all areas of the business.”

In September this year Norse announced new services from both London Gatwick and Oslo to Miami in Florida as well as between Paris and LA next year.
