According to the Ministry of Youth, Sports, Culture and Heritage, nominations for the Proud of Them Honourees are now open from members of the public.

Based on past Honourees, the nominees should be young persons known for their contributions as community volunteers and achievements in sports, academics, or business. Young creatives in the visual, performing, or traditional arts may also be nominated.

Additional criteria include the following:

• Must be Caymanian and/or Right to Be Caymanian
• Must fall in the age range of 10 to 25 years old
• Have demonstrated a high level of attainment or excellence in the Awarding Category
• Nominated for more than the maximum of two (2) Awarding Categories

Regarding the process, it is understood that a Selection Committee will review the nominations and select the 15 Proud of Them Honourees, along with the 2 Rising Stars. Only short-listed candidates will be contacted.
