Nine steel structures protect businesses and customers at the Spot in Greenville – Plumas News

[ad_1]

The Greenville Rotary Club announced the purchase of nine steel structures that will provide protection for the food vendors and customers at The Spot in downtown Greenville during the cold winters and the hot summers. Some the structures will provide cover for the food trailers while others will sit over tables and chairs for customers.

The purchases through Ideal Steel and manufactured by American Steel were sponsored with a grant from:

            The Sierra Institute

The Community Foundation of Northern Nevada

            Plumas Bank

            The Almanor Foundation

            The North Valley Community Foundation

Thus far, the Valley Grind is utilizing two; Region Burger has one allocated, as does Crush A Bowl. The Way Baby has three. There are two vacant, which are available for a permanent or seasonal vendor.

Greenville Rotary described this as a “piggy back project of the greenhouse.” Greenville Rotary helped erect that structure, which is designed to provide customers with cover.
