Munich Airport’s winter flight schedule will include Lufthansa beginning its new service to Bangalore and Etihad increasing its frequency to Abu Dhabi.
Lufthansa’s long-haul route to Bangalore, India, will be operated three times a week with an Airbus A350 from Sunday 29, October.
Etihad Airways will increase the frequency of its existing connection to Abu Dhabi from one flight a day, to ten a week.
Long-haul destinations Beijing and Shanghai that were already added by Lufthansa in the summer will continue to be served during the winter. Bangkok and Los Angeles will also be served by the airline with the Airbus A380.
Lufthansa flights to Glasgow will begin again once a week after a break of several years.
Other winter schedule updates for Munich include:
- Uzbekistan Airlines will start flying to Tashkent, twice a week;
- Marrakesh will be served twice a week once again by Lufthansa from the German hub;
- Norwegian airline Wideroe will be adding Bergen to its winter flight schedule in January 2024;
- SmartLynx will offer a twice-weekly service to the United Arab Emirates’, Ras al Khaimah.
