The National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) has reaccredited Crown Polytechnic for a period of five years. It also declared that the institution was ready for virtual accreditation as a proactive institution.
The accreditation exercise involved programmes cutting across all the four schools of Engineering, Environmental Studies, Applied Sciences and Business Studies, including Crown Polytechnic administration as a whole.
Speaking at the event, Director of Programmes, NBTE, Arch. Ngbede Ogoh, emphasised that the rapid growth of the institution in recent time assisted in hastening the process compared to previous accreditation visits to the polytechnic.
He commended the management of the institution for their cooperation, urged the school to join other polytechnics operating e-distance learning programmes to bring education nearer to the people.
Acting Rector of the institution, Mr. Kola Ajisola, commended the NBTE for the thorough accreditation exercise and the professionalism in handling technical education in the country.
He stated that the institution would continue to operate with excellence and produce future leaders that would turn around the fortune of the country.
