Specialist TMC Music First Partnership is partnering with US tech company CATCH to improve the booking and management of travel for the entertainment industry.

London-based Music First Partnership, which is a sister company of Business First Partnership, said CATCH’s inhouse software would allow it to “simplify the planning, booking and management” of group trips for travel managers in the music and entertainment sectors.

Los Angeles-based CATCH’s platform will allow the TMC to send, compare and track hotel bid requests, build itineraries, send enquiries and archive bookings from previous tours.

The software also allows Music First Partnership to share bid options with clients through a single platform. The latest itinerary is also viewable by the travel manager at every stage of the process.

Dan Horton, founder of Music First Partnership, said: “We’re committed to continually embracing tech to deliver an excellent service for our clients. CATCH is trailblazing and will change the game for how tour managers assess their travel needs and manage their tours.

“The easy-to-use platform allows you to manage every element of your tour in one place. Whether you are managing a one-off performance or a world tour with multiple dates, the platform will help our clients communicate with partners and hotels better and save a huge amount of admin time.”

The deal marks the first time that CATCH, which was set up in 2018, has worked with a UK-based TMC.

Jason Couvillion, co-founder of CATCH, added: “We will continue to update and add more features to help CATCH become the go-to software for group travel managers.”
