Specialist re/insurance broker Miller has appointed Bonifasius Dipati as a Risk Engineer in its Singapore Energy team.
Dipati, who is set to join Miller on April 3rd, is tasked with supporting the firm’s clients with risk management advice and complex claims support.
He will act as a technical interface between clients and the insurance market’s risk engineering teams, focused on helping Miller grow its Power business within its wider Energy portfolio.
Dipati entered the insurance market in 2020 having spent over a decade in the energy sector.
Before joining Miller, he spent three years as a Risk Consultant Specialist at FM Global. He has also previously served at Elliot Ebara and Industrial Power Technology as a turbine engineer.
Commenting on his new role, Dipati said, “I’m excited to be joining the growing Singapore Energy team at Miller.
“I’m looking forward to working closely with the team to help build our network of clients in Asia using my industry and technical experience to give the best possible advice and service.”
Matt Hooker, Head of Energy (Asia-Pacific), and to whom Dipati will report, said, “I am delighted to welcome Bonifasius to Miller. His industry and engineering expertise will be an important addition to Miller’s Asian Energy proposition.
“In particular, Boni will strengthen our risk advisory capabilities for clients in the region, helping us further to access the broadest possible cover at the best available terms.”
