MASHIE Golf, the premium golf society members club, has been running its popular Pairs Series across the UK for the last five years, attracting thousands of golfers to enjoy 18 holes of fun and friendly betterball Stableford pairs competition at a range of top-class venues across the UK.

For next season, MASHIE is partnering with golf media brand Golf News to promote its exciting schedule of tournaments for the 2024 Pairs Series, bringing these unmissable events to an even wider audience.

The new media partnership will see Golf News promote the series across its print, digital and social media platforms, as well as publish post-match reports on each tournament. Golf News readers will also have the chance to win free entry to the Pairs Series events through competitions run in the magazine and online.

Open to all golfing pairs – men, women and mixed – with valid WHS handicaps, the MASHIE Pairs Series has gone from strength to strength since launching in 2018, with its professionally organised golf days proving a big hit with golfers of all standards and ages.

With live scoring, first tee player announcements, quality venues, and a fantastic array of prizes on offer – with team prizes going all the way down to fifth place – places for Pairs Series events are quickly snapped up.

MASHIE Golf’s Pairs Series has grown year-on-year since launching five years ago

As an incentive to enter more than one event, an Order of Merit runs throughout the MASHIE Pairs season, with the best three combined scores across the schedule in line to win more great prizes.

Nick Hovey, Managing Director of MASHIE Golf, the organiser of the Pairs Series, said: “We are delighted to be partnering with Golf News for 2024. Having a dedicated media partner to share what is happening at MASHIE Golf with the wider golf community, whilst also being able to deliver the latest golf news to our customers via our private Members App is a fantastic benefit and a big step forward for our business as we go into the new season.”

Golf News publisher Matt Nicholson added: “It’s a great privilege for us to join forces with MASHIE Golf as a media partner and to help support the Pairs Series. MASHIE Golf’s members are exactly Golf News’s target market – committed golfers who like to play quality golf courses.
“As the Ryder Cup shows, playing in a team event is so much more fun than playing on you own, and the chance to compete with a friend on some great courses in a fun and friendly environment is hard to beat. We’re looking to reporting on the series and seeing who comes out on top.”
