Marie Schott, who held the position of CEO of lingerie retailer Etam between 2011 and 2018, will be returning to her previous role this autumn, according to the Etam group in a press release.

She started her own women’s knickers company called AnaShaf in 2019 after quitting Etam. She served as CEO of French design house The Kooples from June 2021 to June 2023.

After working at Vivarte for five years, Marie Schott, a HEC graduate, joined the Etam group in 2007 to launch the new knickers line Undiz, which she oversaw until 2011. She was appointed head of the flagship brand in that particular year.

For Laurent Milchior, the group’s managing director, “her entrepreneurial background and expertise in lingerie and retail are major assets in achieving the goals we’ve set ourselves.”

She will be responsible for “strengthening the brand’s creativity and leadership” as well as “continuing its digital and international development” when she leads Etam. The company has 660 outlets of sale, 420 of which are in France, and recently held its annual fashion show at Le Palace. It launched its first store in the US this summer in Miami.
