VALLETTA, Oct. 1 (Xinhua) — The 2023 edition of the Malta International Fish Fest kicked off in the picturesque coastal town of Marsaxlokk on Saturday, and continued in Mellieha, a village in the northern region of Malta, on Sunday.

This event served as a vibrant showcase of Maltese traditional fishing culture, with the aim of raising awareness about the rich heritage of fisheries.

Throughout the event, visitors not only have the chance to purchase an array of fresh seafood, taste seafood and also enjoy Maltese traditional music.
