The first Made in Gloucestershire exclusive event for members and affiliates will focus on getting local producers and businesses ready to export their food and drink products.
Made in Gloucestershire wants the world to experience the amazing food and drink coming from Gloucestershire.
Let their expert speakers support your business plan, branding and website so you can sell to new, hungry customers across the globe.
The ‘Get Export Ready’ event will take place at the Gloucester Growth Hub, Oxstalls Campus, on Tuesday 25th April from 8.30am.
The Made in Gloucestershire team will be welcoming export strategy specialist, Stefano Pucello from the Department for Business and Trade, as well as branding and marketing experts Eva Túnez Salvador and Janina Neumann from Local to Global.
Stefano will take you through each strategy point to consider before beginning your export journey. You will leave knowing which first steps to take, how to incorporate export into your business plan and what further support is available as you progress.
Eva and Janina from Local to Global are both passionate about international trade. They will walk you through what you need to consider about exporting, including marketing, brand identity, and translation for new countries.
The morning speaker sessions will be followed by a round of ‘speed dating’ and a chance to be introduced to the Made in Gloucestershire Affiliates, and what their businesses can do for yours.
Dev Chakraborty, deputy chief executive of GFirst LEP, said: “We are so proud of how far Made in Gloucestershire has already come since summer of last year. With over 120+ members and affiliates on our directory, it’s incredible to see how Gloucestershire Food and Drink producers are already benefiting from the project.
“This will be the first of many events that our team will look to put on for the benefit of businesses in the sector.”
