Lufthansa Group is to open two new lounges at Berlin Brandenburg airport to enhance its facilities for business travellers.

The company is unveiling the new Lufthansa Senator and Lufthansa Business lounges on Monday (3 April) at the airport in the German capital to cater for the group’s business class travellers, status customers and Star Alliance passengers who have lounge entitlement.

The Senator Lounge has been created with a “modern room concept” and a steam fireplace, with guests also able to contribute to the lounge’s digital artwork through its app.

The new business lounge will feature a TV club for passengers to enjoy classical music, concert broadcasts and films.

Both lounges will serve a range of food throughout the day, including breakfast in the mornings as well as vegetarian and vegan dishes.

Lufthansa added that HON Circle members, which is the highest of the airline’s elite tiers, would also benefit from a “separate retreat with plenty of privacy”.
