Logos Payment Solutions AB will be the name of the resulting company after the merger is official starting next year.
Logos AB will be merged with Codab AB in Sweden, starting next year. The new company name will be Logos Payment Solutions AB, while the organization number from Codab AB will be retained.
The purpose of the merger is to establish a Swedish competence center for self-service payment solutions within mobility for refueling, EV-charging, car wash, parking, automated retail, among others, with focus on the Swedish and Nordic markets.
At the same time, it ensures meeting the Swedish market as one company, where all competences are gathered. Logos aims to create a strong operation in the country as it is its largest market in the Nordic region.
Since June 2021, Codab has been part of the Logos group of companies, which has established itself as a very strong player in payment solutions. Through the merger in Sweden, the firm will be even better equipped for future developments in self-service payment solutions.
Logos and Codab’s range of products and services will continue with product development, production and support in Malmö, Falkenberg and Gothenburg. The plan is to continuously strengthen these functions, especially in development so that it is guaranteed that products and solutions can be developed and adapted close to customers and the local market.
The company will be scouting for a new CEO, who can lead the merged company towards new goals. Until then, Christian Lester will be acting CEO of Codab AB, while Johan Lundquist will take responsibility for the day-to-day operations along with his role as Sales and Marketing Director.
Henrik Strokirk, current CEO of Logos AB, will step aside from his role after the merger and move to a new role as Business Development Director in the Logos Group. Christian Delfin, who has been CEO of Codab AB for the last year, has left the company after a mutual decision.
