In
a recent announcement, ATFX Global, a player in the CFD and derivatives space, has welcomed
Linton White as its new Country Head for South Africa. The news was shared by
White himself through a post on his LinkedIn profile.

White
brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having served in various key
positions in the financial industry. Prior to his appointment at ATFX, he
served as the General Manager at Scope Markets, a licensed and regulated global
online trading platform provider, for a tenure spanning from April 2023 to
January 2024.

Before
his role at Scope Markets, White held the position of Head of Business
Development at Atossa Capital (Pty) Ltd from October 2022 to April 2023. Atossa
Capital is an online trading platform provider owned and managed by the same
individuals as Veracity Markets.

His
earlier experiences include a stint as the Head of Business
Development at Veracity Markets from April 2022 to April 2023.
Unfortunately, Veracity Markets had to cease operations due to non-compliance
with ODP (Over-the-Counter Derivatives Provider) requirements.

Before
Veracity Markets, White served at QuickTrade Pty Ltd, where he held the
position of Senior Business Development Manager from January 2021 to April
2022. During his tenure, he also assumed the role of National Affiliate Manager
from August 2020 to December 2020.

ATFX Global, with its
presence in South Africa led by White, is expected to further strengthen its
position in the local market. The company’s focus on providing tailored
solutions to both institutional and retail clients aligns with White’s
extensive experience in the industry.
