If it weren’t for you, I probably wouldn’t have spent three whole days of my life streaming old episodes of “Emily in Paris” on Netflix.
I was recovering from surgery earlier this month, and my sister suggested I watch “Band of Brothers,” the old WWII miniseries on HBO. A friend at work, meanwhile, said I should revisit the “Top Gear” car series. Another friend brought me a novel still wrapped in an Amazon envelope.
But no, I ignored them all because I couldn’t get an old “Saturday Night Live” skit out of my head. Our boy Peyton, America’s favorite ex-NFL quarterback and Tennessee Vols icon, famously made an appearance on “SNL” last year after he supposedly binged Season 2 of “Emily” instead of watching the NFL playoffs.
