Sept 29 (Reuters) – Italian eyewear group Safilo (SFLG.MI) said on Friday it had signed contracts to transfer its Longarone plant to Thelios, a unit of luxury house LVMH (LVMH.PA) and Innovatek.

Safilo, which makes eyewear for brands including Hugo Boss and Tommy Hilfiger, said it expects to complete the operation by the end of October.

The Padua-based company earlier this month also signed a deal for the redeployment of all the 458 workers to the two companies that took over the plant.
