POLITICS

Italy’s data protection agency set out a list of demands on
Wednesday which it said OpenAI must meet by April 30 to address
the agency’s concerns over the ChatGPT chatbot and allow the
service to resume in the country.

ECONOMY

ISTAT releases February industrial output data (0800 GMT)
and monthly bulletin on the state of the economy in March (0900
GMT).

DEBT

Treasury sells following BTP bonds: 2.75-3.25 billion euros
3.80% due April 15, 2026; 3.25-3.75 billion euros new 3.70% due
June 15, 2030; 1.0-1.25 billion euros 4.75% due Sept. 1, 2044;
1.0-1.25 billion euros 4.00% due Feb. 1, 2037. Subscriptions
close at 0900 GMT.

COMPANIES

ENEL, ENI, LEONARDO, POSTE

Italy’s Treasury on Wednesday appointed new managers at the
top state-run companies, naming Flavio Cattaneo as chief
executive of the country’s biggest utility Enel while confirming
Claudio Descalzi at the helm of energy group Eni for an
unprecedented fourth term.

Roberto Cingolani was appointed CEO of defence group
Leonardo while Matteo Del Fante was confirmed at postal service
Poste Italiane.

JUVENTUS

Italy’s football association (FIGC) has finished an
investigation into Juventus over alleged irregularities in their
payments to players, the Serie A club said on Wednesday.

Juventus, who have already been hit with a 15-point Serie A
deduction this season in a separate case over players’
transfers, could face further sporting penalties if found
guilty.

HERA

The Italian regional utility said on Wednesday it had
increased its debt EMTN programme to 4.5 billion euros from 3.5
billion euros
