(ANSA) – ROME, APR 28 – The Italian economy is going very
well and people should stop playing ‘Tafazzi’, a comic
self-harming character who beats himself on the genitals,
Premier Giorgia Meloni said in London Friday.
Meloni said she did not see any market concern as the spread is
below last year’s average, the bouse is up, and Italian growth
is forecast higher than France and Germany, above previous
forecasts.
“The markets are interest in facts. And the facts say that the
Italian economy is doing very well and the measures taken by
this government are effective,” the premier told a press
conference at the Italian embassy.
“There is a resurgence of optimism, you can’t always play the
Tafazzi even when things are going well, because you don’t
help”. (ANSA).
