Still figuring out your course schedule for fall 2023? Are you obsessed with Italian brands like Versace, Ferrari, Nutella, or Bialetti? Then you should consider enrolling in ITAL 3333: Made in Italy, which meets from 3:05-4:20 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays. This course counts towards the Italian minor and major. Taught in English.
Course Description: This course will introduce students to Italy as an economic and design capital of the world. Made in Italy is based on four pillars or the Four A’s: Abbigliamento (clothes), Agroalimentare (food), Arredamento (furniture) and Automotive (automobiles), plus a fifth added for the course, Artigianale. As such, the course will introduce students to various brands and products that represent Italy’s genius in design both domestically and internationally. This is the perfect class for students interested in International Relations, International Business, International Economics, Italian, Interior Design, Architecture, and many other fields.
