Intelligent Wellhead Systems, Inc. (IWS) has announced that Tracy Gray has been appointed Director of Strategy and Marketing and joins the Executive team of IWS, effective immediately.
Poised for growth
In her new role, Gray oversees all aspects of strategic planning and marketing for IWS. She believes that company success depends upon a sound and clear strategic plan. “In my experience, the best strategic plans focus on the customer and the value delivered to them,” said Gray. “Constant market and customer interaction not only validate the value of existing products, but drive future innovation by co-creating value and fostering collaboration. With marketing aligned to the strategic plan, Intelligent Wellhead Systems is positioned for its largest growth to date,” she added.
With over 25 years of oil and gas leadership experience in transformation, strategy and marketing, Gray’s ability to lead and accomplish the impossible is critical to the success of Intelligent Wellhead Systems. This, plus her expertise in process efficiency and program management, will help prepare Intelligent Wellhead Systems for upcoming growth.
Experience and expertise
Before joining Intelligent Wellhead Systems, Gray served in a number of strategic planning and marketing roles. Most recently she was Global Senior Director of Strategy & Retention for Sodexo’s Energy & Resources division. Previously, she worked as Global Manager for Strategic Initiatives & Marketing for Halliburton’s Consulting & Project Management service line, and as Global Process and Quality Lead for Shell Information Technology International.
Originally from Needville, Texas, Gray earned a Master’s Degree in Business Administration in Management, Computing and Systems from Houston Baptist University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration in Marketing and Management from Texas A&M University. In addition, she completed the Harvard Business School’s Sustainable Business Strategy Certification Program, and holds Project Management Professional (PMP) and Six Sigma certifications.

When asked what she is most excited about, Gray said, “Being part of the growth of Intelligent Wellhead Systems as the company continues to revolutionise the oil and gas industry with advanced, state-of-the-art digital solutions.”
