Institution of Engineers Malaysia tours Jesselton Twin Towers

THE Institution of Engineers, Malaysia (IEM) (Sabah Branch) organised a half-day Technical Visit to the “Jesselton Twin Towers, Kota Kinabalu”. Some of 48 delegates were involved, led by IEM Sabah branch Chairman, Ir. Willy Chin and the General Manager of Jesselton Properties Sdn Bhd, Kevin Thong.
The Jesselton Twin Towers is a residential development with 56 floors above grade and 8 levels of podium car park.

The twin towers stands at 192.15m and once completed would be the tallest landmark in Sabah.
The architecture of the twin towers is inspired by the natural constructs in which it resides, showcasing a masterclass of harmony between nature and sophistication.
The purpose of this visit was to provide opportunities for IEM Sabah members to tour the development site and gain insights into the technologies used in its operation.
