Tech major Infosys is reportedly in talks to improve its Internet of Everything (IoE) organisational structure for delivering and consulting functions as the company focuses on adopting generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) in its offerings, according to a recent report by the Economic Times.

The new IoE organisational structure will be headed by AVP and Global Delivery Head – Internet of Things (IoT), Vikas Gupta, along with AVP and Senior Principal Technology Architect, Krishnananda Shenoy, the report added.

Infosys has not officially commented on the matter, but the new IoE structure is expected to start from 1 December.

The structural change marks Infosys’s aim to realign the team to aggressively pursue an acquisition of new IoT customers and projects, a profitable segment the company is bullish about.

Currently, Infosys is handling a few multiple-billion-dollar IoT projects.
