AirAsia is set to introduce a new route from Jaipur to Kuala Lumpur, starting April 21, 2024. This marks the airline’s first venture from Jaipur to the Malaysian capital. Kuala Lumpur is a popular destination for Indian travellers, attracting visitors for various purposes such as business, leisure, and temple visits. The route is expected to enhance connectivity for Malaysians travelling to Jaipur.

To celebrate the launch, AirAsia is offering promotional one-way fares from Jaipur to Kuala Lumpur. The promotional fares can be booked from January 9 to January 23, 2024, on the AirAsia Super app or www.airasia.com. The travel period for these promotional fares is from April 21, 2024, to March 19, 2025.

AirAsia Aviation Group Limited Group CEO Bo Lingam commented on the new route, stating, “India has always been one of our most important markets, having connected five million AirAsia guests from the country to Malaysia in the last six years and counting. I look forward to seeing where our growing network will bring us next.”

AirAsia already operates a comprehensive network with nine routes directly connecting various Indian cities to Malaysia, including Chennai, Tiruchirappalli, Kochi, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Kolkata, New Delhi, and Amritsar. In February 2024, the airline plans to commence flights to Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala, expanding its direct routes in the southern region. The airline also offers Fly-Thru options, allowing passengers to utilise Kuala Lumpur as a connecting hub to access over 130 destinations in 22 countries within AirAsia’s network.
