Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) announced the appointment of Loh Khai Peng (pic) to the position of managing director for Singapore, effective 1 November 2023. In addition to this new role, he will continue to serve as HPE’s vice president and managing director for Southeast Asia.
In this capacity, Loh will drive HPE’s overall business operations and leadership in countries including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, and other Asian emerging countries, the company said in a statement.
Loh brings over three decades of enterprise IT and leadership experience in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region. Prior to this appointment, he held various key roles within HPE, most recently serving as its vice president and general manager of the Account Management and Industries Organisation for APAC while also leading as the company’s managing director for the growth and emerging markets sub-region, showcasing his ability to navigate diverse markets and spearhead growth in dynamic environments.
Joseph Yang, who served as Singapore’s managing director during HPE’s fiscal year 2023, will now lead HPE’s High Performance Computing and Artificial Intelligence team across APAC and India, continuing to drive HPE’s market leadership in delivering leading supercomputing and AI-native solutions to customers in the region.
In his new role, Loh will be responsible for supporting the complete HPE portfolio and account management across the countries under his responsibility and will also be focused on driving employee engagement and performance.
