LOCK HAVEN — Downtown Lock Haven Inc.’s Haven Historical Holidays is just one day away, right along with the kick off to Small Business Saturdays.
Small Business begins tomorrow morning, with most businesses opening at 10 a.m.
Businesses will be offering deals and giveaways beginning at 10 a.m. and throughout the day.
Participating businesses will also take part in DLH’s Window Decorating contest, sticking with this year’s Triple H theme — representing memories and traditions both old and new.
Everyone will get to vote for the best decorated window and be entered to win a Downtown Lock Haven gift card.
A day full of shopping is leading to the Haven Historical Holiday Parade, which will make its way down Main Street at 6 p.m.
Floats will be decorated to represent historical memories and traditions from the past of the organization’s choice. Everyone will be able to vote for the best parade float.
Following the parade, Sarah’s Alley between Stella A’s and Rachel K’s Creations will be the place to be, as Santa Claus and his reindeer will set up shop at 7 p.m.
Santa and his friends will be available for photos and to visit with kids until 9 p.m.
If you aren’t able to make it to see Santa, don’t worry, he’ll be setting up shop multiple days in December at The Station Gallery, 2 E. Bald Eagle St. – where the Clinton County Arts Council will also be hosting its annual Holiday Sale.
St. Nick will be at the gallery the following dates:
— Friday, Dec. 1, from 5 to 8 p.m.
— Saturday, Dec. 2, from 1 to 4 p.m.
— Friday, Dec. 8, from 5 to 8 p.m.
— Friday, Dec. 15, from 5 to 8 p.m.
— Saturday, Dec. 16, from 1 to 4 p.m.
Small Business Saturdays will take place each Saturday until Dec. 16.
