Have your say on Rushcliffe Borough Council’s Corporate Strategy until 17 July | West Bridgford Wire

Rushcliffe Borough Council is seeking residents’ views on its forthcoming Corporate Strategy setting out its plan for the next four years.

The authority is committed to providing the statutory services residents expect from their Council, such as emptying bins on time, keeping streets safe and clean, processing planning applications and providing benefits services.

But they are also focused on the future and that’s where its Corporate Strategy comes in, shaping the future of the Borough in terms of housing and supporting infrastructure, reducing the Borough’s impact on the environment, and taking the necessary action to ensure Rushcliffe remains a great place to live, work and play.

Now residents can have their say between now and Monday, July 17.

Rushcliffe Borough Council’s Leader and Portfolio Holder for Strategic and Borough Wide Leadership Cllr Neil Clarke said: “Please have your say on our forthcoming strategy.

“Among many other things, our last Corporate Strategy outlined the Council’s intention to build a new Crematorium, a new leisure centre, community hall and office space in Bingham, and refresh our carbon management plan and establish a carbon neutral target.

“We were pleased that we were able to achieve each of those and more in the last four years and now it is time to refresh the strategy and determine what you want us to prioritise next, in addition to the essentials.

“By taking a few minutes to fill out this survey you’ll be helping to determine what we should be focusing on next ensuring that our Corporate Strategy for 2023- 2027 reflects what’s important to you as a resident, community group or business owner.

“Participation in this consultation is very important to us and we welcome all comments, thank you in advance for taking the time to complete it.”

If you have any questions or comments, or if you wish to complete a paper survey please email media@rushcliffe.gov.uk or write to: Consultation, Rushcliffe Borough Council, Rugby Road, West Bridgford, Nottingham, NG2 7YG.
