The Hancock County Creating Entrepreneurial Opportunities class, or CEO class, is a program that allows students to learn about business.
On Tuesday, the program held its annual trade show. from to 6 p.m. at the Lake Hill Winery and Banquet Hall.
The event allowed students the opportunity o share their business ideas.
Attendees were then able to speak and ask questions of the students about their business.
The program has already helped create success stories.
“We’ve got two students from our very first class of CEO, 2015-16. We have one of those students is now a board member for our program, and another one of those students just recently became an investor with his personal business that he has started since CEO. So watching that come full circle, has really been just exciting for the program, and knowing that we’re making an impact in our community for the youth,” said Christine Murphy, Hancock County CEO facilitator.
The program is open to any junior or senior high school student in Hancock County.
