In recognition of their commitment to promoting financial independence in various sectors, some Nigerian women were recently honoured at the 8th Smart Steward Summit.
The list of those decorated include Kemi Ajumobi, Nike Adeyemi, Chioma Ifeanyi-Eze, Olori Boye-Ajayi, Mayokun Oreofe, Toyosi Etim-Effiong, Hansatu Adegbite, Ayodeji Megbope, Funke Felix-Adejumo, Ibinike Taiwo Fajolu, Debola-Deji-Kurunmi, Osayi Alile and Oluwatosin Olaseinde.
The awards were presented to women in various spheres including arts, entertainment, media, communication, business, economy, family, religion, politics, government and education. The theme of this year’s summit was ‘Money On The Move.’
Present at the event were Lagos State Commissioner of Agriculture, Abisola Olusanya; CEO, Fine & Country Realtors, Udo Ukonjo; President, FFA Foundation, Funke Felix-Adejumo; Founder, Immerse Coaching Company, Debola Deji-Kurunmi; CEO, That Good Media, Toyosi Etim-Effiong, among others.
The general session had Group Executive Director of Rain Oil, Dr. Gabriel Ogbechie and Global Thought Leader and Futurist, Kunle Soriyan as keynote speakers, while the founder of Accounting Hub Nigeria, Chioma Ifeanyi-Eze was the guest speaker.
The Convener and Lead Coach at Smart Stewards Sola Adesakin, underscored the importance of embracing fresh mindsets, adopting new perspectives and dedicating unwavering commitment to three vital assets: Skills, Time and Information (SIT) in a rapidly evolving global landscape.
She also used the summit to unveil ElevateHerWealth Plan designed to optimise wealth allocation for women. Adesakin noted that the annual summit transcends being just an event, but also a movement to open doors of boundless possibilities to promote growth, empowerment and financial independence on the continent.
