Govt issues simpler rules to free up more taxi licenses – English

(ANSA) – ROME, NOV 6 – The government on Monday issued
simpler rules to free up more taxi licenses.


The rules make it easier for local authorities to issue taxi
licenses, up to a 20% limit compared to existing ones.


“Simplified procedures to have more taxis, more licenses and
more services in ecological vehicles, and therefore in healthier
cities,” said Business and Made In Italy Minister Adolfo Urso,
whose ministry issued the rules along with the transport
ministry. (ANSA).
