Ground transport platforms Gett and Free Now have joined forces, giving Gett’s corporate clients in the UK access to 20,000 private hire vehicles.

Gett customers will be able to book and manage rides with Free Now, which includes a mix of standard, EV and comfort vehicles.

The new service will be rolled out in a “phased approach” in early 2023 to introduce Free Now’s minicab fleet to Gett’s roster of business accounts. Once complete, the company said all new corporate customers who open a business account through Gett’s automated self-registration option will automatically have access to the fleet for on-demand bookings.

According to the company, the next phase will allow existing clients to request the new service for their teams, before it is offered “more widely” to all business customers.

“We’re thrilled to have found a PHV partner like Free Now that shares our values and takes the same customer-centric approach to applying technology to solve real-world problems,” said Guy Gaash, VP global partnerships at Gett.

“As the market continues to stabilise post-Covid and demand for PHV services grows, we’re excited to bring our business customers an increased level of convenience and reliability across the UK,” he added.

Free Now UK general manger, Mariusz Zabrocki, added: “We are delighted that Gett has chosen to enrich its platform with our exceptional minicab fleet, reinforcing our position as a leading ride-hailing operator in London.”

In 2022, Gett reportedly served more than 10,000 B2B clients, while the Free Now platform reported an 80 per cent year-on-year growth between 2021 and 2022.
