Secursun solar park installation

Securesun, has over 50 solar part projects scheduled to be competed before the end of 2026, averaging 20MWpeak, with the largest at 150MWpeak.

Last year, roof-top and park installations combined, Germany built 7.2GWpeak* of solar capacity.

“We are very pleased that we can contribute to the  expansion targets in Germany with projects. It requires lots of speed to achieve what we need in terms of the energy transition in Germany,” said Holger Stabernack, CEO of Securenergy which owns half of the Securesun joint-venture – Sunotec is the equal partner.

At least seven Securesun solar parks will be started this year, with the 42MW Frankenförde installation near Berlin amongst them.

“Since the launch of our joint venture last November, less than a year has passed,” said Stabernack. “Now work has started at several locations at the same time.”

Sunotec is a utility solar parks construction company, with bases in Sofia (Bulgaria) and Munich, and over 1,400 people. It has built >6.6GW peak capacity across more than 500 solar parks.

Securenergy Solutions, based in Berlin, develops photovoltaic projects, primarily in Germany and the Dominican Republic. It claims to have a 4.5GW pipeline. “For Securesun, the majority of the projects will come from Securenergy Solutions, it said. “Upon completion, these will be part of Securesun’s portfolio.
