PETALING JAYA: Genting Plantations Bhd is proposing a retirement gratuity of RM787,523 to Quah Chek Tin in recognition of his long service and contribution to the company.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, Genting Plantations said Quah, an independent non-executive director of the company, had indicated his intention to retire at the conclusion of the forthcoming 45th AGM.

“A circular to shareholders containing the details on the aforementioned proposed retirement gratuity payment will be made available via electronic means to the shareholders of the company in due course.”
