PARIS, Nov 7 (Reuters) – The PNF French financial prosecutor is investigating possible market manipulation linked to pharma group Sanofi (SASY.PA), AFP reported on Tuesday, citing a source close to the matter.

Sanofi said in an e-mailed statement it was unaware of any such probe. The PNF did not immediately reply to a Reuters request for comment.

The investigation is linked to Sanofi’s financial communication and was opened in March, AFP said.

Sanofi said its financial publications are “accurate, precise and sincere”.
