Lock Paul Willemse has been ruled out of France’s final match in the Six Nations against Wales on Saturday.
The French rugby federation did not give a reason for Willemse’s withdrawal on Monday. He has not been replaced in the France squad.
After its rampant 53-10 win over England at Twickenham on Saturday, France sits second in the tournament’s standings behind unbeaten Ireland.
Willemse left the pitch after 50 minutes against England. The French federation said he has left France’s camp to rejoin his Montpellier club.
