The highly anticipated Food and Hotel Malaysia 2023 will unveil a line-up of over 1000 companies and brands from 15 countries and regions, showcasing the best local and international hospitality offerings. The event is a combination of food, beverages, hotel amenities, bakeries, restaurants, catering, and corresponding equipment.
As a biennial trade-only food and hospitality exhibition, Food and Hotel Malaysia has served as a prominent platform for the industry. The event will take over ten exhibition halls of the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, with an expected attendance of 25,000 professionals and trade visitors. The 2023 event is once again organised by Informa Markets, a subsidiary of Informa PLC.
Country General Manager of Informa Markets Malaysia, Gerard Leeuwenburgh, said that the event will offer a truly immersive platform to engage with industry players and form valuable business connections.
“We encourage all of our exhibitors and visitors to leverage on FHM 2023 to help their businesses recover from the impacts of the pandemic and discover the exciting new opportunities that lie ahead,” said Leeuwenburgh.
The event has curated a wide range of seminars and masterclasses to further development in the field. A sustainability stance has also been adopted, with opportunities to improve environmental impacts, as well as social and economic change. The event has aimed at being responsible for helping markets improve sustainability through connecting people with the networks and knowledge to solve big challenges within the sector. Reducing the event’s carbon emissions, creating less waste, and considering the sustainability credentials of the items sourced at the event have been prioritised.
Food and Hotel Malaysia will feature displays from Belgium, Hong Kong, Thailand, and the United States of America. Featured items on display include biodegradable products, industry 4.0 technologies, innovative hospitality solutions, and nutritive plant-based alternatives, among many others. Live cooking demonstrations, including the Culinaire Malaysia 2023 competition, industry conferences and seminars are also part of the programme.
The 17th edition of Food and Hotel Malaysia will start on the 19th of September, spanning over four days.
