Net inflows into equity mutual funds grew 25 per cent to Rs 15,685.57 crore in February over the previous month, according to data released by Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI).

During the month, sectoral and thematic funds witnessed the highest fund inflows of Rs 3,855.9 crore. Flows into small cap funds and multicap funds stood at Rs 2,246.3 crore and Rs 1,977.6 crore, respectively.
Debt fund schemes continued to see an outflow amid rising interest rates.
The outflows from the debt schemes stood at Rs 13,815.23 crore in February compared to Rs 10,316.15 crore in the previous month. Outflows from liquid funds were at Rs 11,304.5 crore and from ultra-short duration funds at Rs 2,429.97 crore, the data showed.
Overnight funds, however, saw an inflow of Rs 2,945.84 crore during the month.
Inflows into hybrid schemes were to the tune of Rs 460.32 crore, with multi asset allocation fund inflows at Rs 510.15 crore.
Index funds witnessed inflows of Rs 6,244.30 crore.
