Emma Madsen Joins TRAVELSAVERS CANADA As Director Of Business Development

Emma Madsen has joined TRAVELSAVERS CANADA as a director of business development. In the new role, Madsen will oversee strategic acquisition and services for British Columbia, advancing the company’s mission of driving more business with agency affiliates in that province.

Madsen began her travel career as a Business Development Manager at the age of 24. She was the first individual hired at Sunwing Vacations in Western Canada in 2006. Three years later, she moved to the Jamaica Tourist Board.

“Emma has gained exceptional experience, diversity and recognition in the industry as a highly regarded travel professional,” says Jane Clementino, SVP and General Manager, TRAVELSAVERS CANADA.

“Emma’s industry expertise will be instrumental in driving the company’s continued growth and success for our agency partners in western Canada.”

Madsen will work closely with TRAVELSAVERS CANADA owners and advisors to support their business objectives and help accelerate preferred supplier sales. She brings strong customer service skills and has worked with a variety of organizations and clients, giving her extensive knowledge of the inner workings of the travel industry.

As an avid traveller and adventure seeker, Madsen has both heart and passion for her work. “I’m looking forward to being part of such a dynamic team and helping to elevate our agencies,” she says. “TRAVELSAVERS has really taken off in Canada and I want to contribute to that growth and excitement.”
