Emirates is to increase flights between London Heathrow and Dubai for the upcoming winter season to “meet market demand”.
The Dubai-based carrier will add an extra “temporary” five-times-per-week service from Heathrow between 31 October and 30 March 2024.
The extra service will operate on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and will supplement Emirates’ current Heathrow-Dubai schedule of six daily A380 flights. Emirates plans to use a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft with first, business and economy cabins on the new service.
Emirates has also been busy adding capacity on other routes to the UK, including the resumption of daily A380 services to Birmingham and Glasgow, as well as offering double-daily flights to Stansted and increasing services to Newcastle.
