Emirates is further ramping up operations from Europe in its summer 2023 schedule starting later this month.
The Dubai-based carrier will add a second daily service from London Stansted airport from 1 May, while A380 superjumbo aircraft will be reintroduced on its Glasgow and Birmingham routes from 26 March and 1 July respectively. The A380 will also start serving Nice again from 1 June.
Other moves will see Emirates’ flights from Amsterdam Schiphol airport to Dubai increase from 14 to 19 per week from 2 April and the introduction of a new daily seasonal service to Athens operating between June and September.
Frequencies will also be increased by Emirates on its existing routes from Dubai to Bologna, Budapest and Venice this summer.
Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ chief commercial officer, said: “Emirates continues to expand its global network and deploy its capacity to meet travel demand across the world.
“Customer demand has been very strong, and our forward bookings are also robust. Emirates is working hard on several fronts – to bring back operating capacity as quickly as the ecosystem can manage, while also upgrading our fleet and product to ensure our customers always enjoy the best possible Emirates experience.”
