Emirates’ Premium Economy experience is now available to Singapore.
The product officially launched in the Lion City on Emirates’ upgraded four-class A380 aircraft.
Rashid Al Ardha, Emirates’ Country Manager said: “The deployment of our newest product marks a significant milestone for our operations in Singapore.”
“We’re confident that our new cabin class will cater to the requirements of both business and leisure travellers.”
Emirates launched its Premium Economy Class last year.
The airline says the customer response has been very positive with high demand.
Emirates’ Premium Economy is currently available to seven destinations including London Heathrow, New York JFK, and San Francisco.
On a four-class Emirates A380, the Premium Economy cabin is located at the front of the main deck with 56 seats in a 2-4-2 configuration.
It offers dedicated in-flight amenities, menu and expanded beverage options.
The leather seats have wood panel finishing similar to Business Class, and six-way adjustable headrests.
They have a pitch of up to 40 inches.
Each seat has a 13.3” entertainment screen with up to 6,500 music, movies, TV and news channels.
Premium Economy customers get a dedicated check-in area at Dubai International or can complete self-service check in.
