Emirates and Air Canada have expanded their codeshare agreement to include flights to and from Montréal, after the Dubai-based carrier launched services to the Canadian city last month.

The codeshare partnership, first announced in July 2022, allows travellers to utilise the services of both airlines on a single ticket and redeem reciprocal frequent flyer benefits on flights.

These benefits will now be extended to 11 domestic destinations via Montréal, with an additional 69 destinations accessible from the gateway on an interline basis.

From Toronto, Emirates customers can travel to 19 destinations while making use of the codeshare benefits, and an additional 100 destinations through an interline arrangement.

The carrier currently operates daily services between Toronto to Dubai on A380 aircraft and seven weekly flights from Montréal on Boeing 777 aircraft.
