Emirates has expanded its partnership with sustainable aviation fuel provider Neste with an agreement to accept more than 3 million gallons of SAF, the carrier announced Wednesday. The fuel will be a blend of 30 percent neat SAF combined with conventional Jet A-1 fuel and will be used in 2024 and 2025 for Emirates flights departing from Amsterdam Schiphol and Singapore Changi airports. This expanded partnership represents the “largest volume of SAF to be uplifted of any airline based in the Middle East or Africa to date,” according to the carrier.
