ELMA, NY. — Elmhurst 1925, a plant-based beverage producer, is introducing a limited-time offering to its seasonal product lineup.
Elmhurst’s apple pie spice blend is formulated from six ingredients, including an oat-cashew base and the company’s lavender vanilla botanical blend, to deliver baked apple and buttery piecrust flavor notes. The product was developed as a clean label dairy alternative for several applications, such as plant-based coffee beverages, cocktails and baked foods.
The company also is running a limited rerelease of its OatNog and low-calorie pumpkin spice oat creamer, with 1 gram of sugar and 15 calories per serving, alongside its apple pie blend.
“We believe that the fall and winter months are a time for cozy gatherings and indulgent treats — so we set out to craft better-for-your, clean label takes on holiday classics, giving plant-based and vegan consumers permission to indulge without the added sugar or junk ingredients,” said Heba Mahmoud, senior director of brand marketing and innovation at Elmhurst. “We are excited to bring back some fan-favorite seasonal offerings and introduce the unique and nostalgic flavor experience of our Apple Pie Spice Seasonal Blend. All deliver the specialty coffee experiences consumers love, without any of the sugary syrups, gums or oils they’ll find in most products.”
Both the OatNog and the apple pie blend are launching in 32-oz containers for a suggested retail price of $6.99, with the pumpkin spice creamer packaged in 16-oz cartons for $5.99. All three offerings are now available in-store at Sprouts Farmers Market, Fresh Thyme, World Market and Wegmans locations nationwide and online through Amazon.
Elmhurst’s LTOs join its portfolio of oat-based creamers that include unsweetened, french vanilla, chai spice and caramel macchiato flavors. All of the company’s products are produced using its proprietary HydroRelease method that emulsifies nuts, seeds and grains using water. The sustainable process utilizes 100% renewable hydroelectric energy and upcycles any waste.
