Egencia updates guest traveler features

B2B business travel tech platform Egencia unveiled a host of upgrades to its guest traveler features.

It provides temporary users or non-profiled travelers with a complete managed travel experience.

It includes easy self-service business travel booking and 24/7 emergency support.

Invited travelers can now choose travel options easily and quickly, and companies can get even better policy compliance for these trips.

It says bookings made by arrangers for guests and other travelers increased to 33% in 2022 up from 26% in 2019.

Egencia offers many benefits for arrangers or guest users: such as flexible configuration with profiles tailored for different levels of access.

Additionally, enhanced security reduces the chance of fraud.

“We are seeing changing patterns. Booking business travel for non-employees of a company is on the rise,” said John Sturino, VP Product & Technology.

Through a pilot in North America and Europe, 20 customers helped influence the new features.

The new guest traveler features will be available to all Egencia customers by early April.

Later this year, Neo, Amex GBT’s online travel and expense solution, will also make enhancements to further streamline its guest booking capabilities.
