Deutsche Hospitality has opened its IntercityHotel Geneva – the first for the brand in French-speaking Switzerland.

The IntercityHotel brand has around 40 hotels in Germany, Austria, The Netherlands, Oman, and China. Twenty additional locations are currently under development.

Josef Dolp, chief operating officer and guest experience officer at Deutsche Hospitality said: “It is our first hotel in French-speaking Switzerland, with more to follow soon.

“Switzerland is a key market and Geneva a top location for us to continue the growth of the IntercityHotel brand: It is dynamic and energetic.”

Located at Quartier de l’Étang, a former industrial site that has been
redeveloped with sustainability in mind, the IntercityHotel Geneva is
close to the city centre, the airport and Palexpo International
Exhibition and Congress Centre.

The midscale hotel offers 270 rooms, a conference area with five meeting rooms, health and fitness centre and a restaurant and bar.

IntercityHotel Geneva is operated by Deutsche Hospitality, which has eight brands including Steigenberger Hotels & Resorts and Zleep Hotels.
