A new Demon Slayer game that seems to take inspiration from the Mario Party series has been announced for the Nintendo Switch.

What is the Demon Slayer game’s title?

Anime News Network reported on the game, which is called Kimetsu no Yaiba Mezase! Saikyō Taishi! (Aim for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba! The Strongest Soldier!). The new Demon Slayer game can be played offline or online with up to four players, though there are nine playable characters in total. The board game includes a day and night cycle, minigames, and more and is currently set to release for the Nintendo Switch in 2024.

This isn’t the first console game based off of the franchise, with Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles releasing on consoles and PC in 2021. The 3D arena fighter received a substantial amount of post-launch support, with new characters being added to the title for months after release.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is a shonen manga series created by Koyoharu Gotouge. Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump serialized the manga from February 2016 to May 2020. The anime adaptation by studio Ufotable first premiered in April 2019. Haruo Sotozaki is directing the series.
