Your role

As a member of our analytics team at MilliporeSigma, you use low-code environments such as business intelligence tools to convert data into insights.

 

  • Make data accessible to the businesses and collaborate with the D&A Enablement Consultant to enable business stakeholders.
  • Develop reports and visualizations on data platforms to provide them for the business and D&A Enablement Consultants as well as Business Analysts.
  • Use primarily low code algorithms/ methods for processing data.

 

Who you are:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in a quantitative field like economics, finance, statistics, data science, computer science, engineering, mathematics or related field with strong academic qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in data analytics, predictive analytics, mathematics, statistics, or similar field

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Advanced understanding/coursework in math, statistics, machine learning and data management
  • Excellent quantitative and qualitative skills; being able to analyze data, draw conclusions, identify trends and issues, and diagnose root cause of issues
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Master’s degree 
  • BI Tools
  • Database querying, data exploration
  • Tableau, JMP/Minitab or SIMCA, Alteryx or KNIME; Python is a plus
  • Continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD)
  • Basic front-ends, prototypes
  • Understand data quality metrics and relevance
  • Feature engineering / extraction
