A popular Crewe eatery is celebrating one year in business with a 50 per cent off in-store discount, causing large queues in the town centre.

Hong’s Noodle Dumpling Bar, Earle Street, is running the special offer between 12pm and 5pm on Wednesday 18 October.

The Chinese restaurant, owned by Simon Shen, 58, is celebrating its first full year in business.

Hong’s Noodle Dumpling Bar’s one-year anniversary special offer has created large queues in Crewe town centre (Ryan Parker).

Hong’s offers customers a small, medium or large box with a noodle or rice base and upto three toppings, including its famous Hong’s Chicken.

18 October only, the business is offering 50 per cent off all food when ordered in-store.

There are no collection orders available on this day. The shop closes at 5pm due to a special anniversary party.

This August, Hong’s welcomed Kawaii Boba Tea to its unit, trading separately.

Operated by local resident, Jayne Li, Kawaii Boba Tea became Crewe’s first ever bubble tea shop.

The business serves freshly-made bubble tea, fruit teas, Hong Kong milk tea and steamed Dim Sum, along with desserts such as boba sundaes, ice cream and cheesecakes.

Normally, Hong’s Noodle Dumpling Bar is now open 12:00pm to 8:30pm (Monday to Saturday) and 1:00pm to 8:30pm (Sunday).
