While the Coventry City dust settles after the club’s valiant but ultimately disappointing Championship play-off final at Wembley Stadium, attention has quickly switched elsewhere.

Sky Blues fans are now eagerly snapping up season tickets and anxiously awaiting developments in the summer transfer window. Another big event on their radar will be the launch the of the club’s new kits for the 2023/24 campaign.

The Sky Blues are continuing their partnership with hugely popular kit producers hummel who have come up with some cracking designs since returning to the club in recent years.

This season’s nod to the classic tramline strip from the 1970s proved to be a smash hit, as did the purple away strip. But how does hummel top such eye-catching designs? Well, our friends at Covcept – alias Andy Smith – have come up with some classy and colourful suggestions to whet supporters’ appetites as to what next season’s strips could look like.

Next year’s official designs have already been signed off, by the way, and will remain a closely guarded secret until the club’s big reveal in the summer.

In the meantime, take a look at the below designs and see if any take your fancy. *Some of these designs were done prior to City owner Doug King insisting there will be no betting firm sponsors on the front of the shirt. The very latest designs feature Coventry Building Society as a possible sponsor next season.
