Corporate Traveler USA has named VP of operations John Van den Heuval as its new president as the travel management company plans growth across key U.S. markets, the company announced Friday.
Van den Heuval rejoined Corporate Traveler USA, Flight Centre Travel Group’s division focused on small and midmarket clients, last November following more than seven years as president of travel wholesaler Gogo Worldwide Vacations. Prior to that, he had worked with the Corporate Travel brand for more than six years and started his travel career with Flight Centre 21 years ago.
In a statement, Van den Heuval said Corporate Traveler will build up its sales, customer success and operational teams over the next year, particularly in the TMC’s “current core markets,” including Boston; New York City; Chicago; Houston; Los Angeles; Orange County, Calif.; and Denver. “Our rising markets of Seattle, San Diego, [Washington] DC, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Nashville and Miami will see us moving into five regions in the next two years, and we’ll continue to grow our team of strong, skilled consultants and sales professionals who are specialized in dedicated travel services of start-up, midmarket and SME customers.”
Van den Heuval will work from Corporate Traveler’s new headquarters in the Bryant Park neighborhood of New York.
